To assist us with our needs we are looking to recruit an experienced and competent SEO Specialist.

The Role:

This position is a key role within our business and you will be working directly alongside the Director of Search and the IT and Sales teams. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the provision of SEO specialist services within our company. Our industry is highly competitive and candidates are invited to apply who have vast knowledge and experience in a SEO/SEM role, and in-depth experience of Google Maps (Places) optimisation and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• To conduct keyword, market and competitor research and analysis, using industry tools.
• Plan on-page and off-page optimisation strategies to achieve high rankings in search engine results pages and increase relevant organic traffic.
• Regularly measure the effectiveness of SEO campaigns by interpreting metrics via SEO tools and the intelligent use of web analytics.
• Research and develop ideas for content generation, as well as seeding and submission of the content to relevant sources.
• Copywriting, article writing, blog writing etc. skills preferred.
• Plan and implement social media strategies.
• Keep up-to-date with search engine technology and SEO methods.

Skills Required:

A proven track record working as an SEO specialist in either an agency or in-house environment. PPC experience and knowledge preferred, but not essential.

• Experience using the main Search Engine’s webmaster tools.
• A high degree of numeracy and the ability to interpret and act on web analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An analytical approach, with focus on detail and the production of actionable recommendations of true value.
• The ability to interpret HTML and CSS, although coding experience is not necessary.
• Experience in other areas of online marketing, although not necessary, is desirable including PPC and social media.
